Stephen Orgel is the Jackson Eli Reynolds Professor of the Humanities at Stanford University and general editor of the Cambridge Studies in Renaissance Literature and Culture. He has edited Ben Johnson&rsquo s masques, Christopher Marlowe&rsquo s poems and translations, and many other classics.
